Bradford Council is holding an open recruitment event for anyone interested in a job in either adults’ or children’s social care. The event will take place on June 15 from noon to 6pm at Margaret McMillan Tower, Prince's Way, Bradford BD1 1NN.
The event will be a chance for people to find out more about a range of job opportunities for both qualified and unqualified roles in Children’s Services and social worker roles in Adults’ Services. People will also be able to find out more about Bradford’s new assessed and supported year in employment (ASYE) academy.
Those who attend and who bring their CV with them will have the opportunity to apply for a job and interview on the same day where we are able to do so. The kinds of roles that are available range from business support officers, residential practitioners, community resource workers through to qualified social workers.
Councillor Sue Duffy, Bradford Council’s Portfolio Holder for Children and Families, said: “This is a really exciting time to be joining us. Working in social care is such a rewarding job and there are lots of roles available at different levels. We want to attract people who have the potential and the passion to make a difference to people’s lives.”
