A service commemorating the 40th anniversary of the end of the Falklands War will be held at Bradford’s Memorial Wall in the Cenotaph Gardens, Morley Street next week.
The service will start at 11am on Tuesday and will be led by The Revd Canon Paul Maybury Acting Dean at Bradford Cathedral.
The Lord Mayor of Bradford Councillor Martin Love will host the event and will be supported by Group Leaders plus Falklands Veterans from SAMA 82 (South Atlantic Medals Association).
Cllr Love said: “This is a chance to support and respect our forces who were involved in the Falklands War.
"It is an opportunity for all of us to show our appreciation and remember the sacrifices made by the members of our Armed Forces during the Falklands War. I hope people will join with us to reflect.”
