A BRADFORD man has been jailed for stealing wallets from a city shop.
Charanjit Singh, 52, of Pemberton Drive, was sent to prison for four weeks for stealing wallets, worth £345, from Forster Square Retail Park, Valley Road, Bradford, on May 24, 2022. He was also ordered to pay a £128 victim surcharge for this charge.
Singh was jailed for three weeks, suspended for 12 months, after an original offence suspended sentence order was activated for stealing three pairs of Adidas trainers, worth £119.97, from TK Maxx, Forster Square Retail Park, on March 24, 2022.
A further previous suspended sentence was given to Singh for stealing spirits, worth £70, from Marks and Spencer, The Broadway, Bradford, on March 26, 2022. For this charge, he was jailed for three weeks, suspended for 12 months.
Singh was also jailed for three weeks, suspended for 12 months, for stealing clothing worth £340 from JD Sports, Forster Square Retail Park, on April 5, 2022.
A further suspended sentence was also imposed on Singh. He was jailed for three weeks, suspended for 12 months, for stealing three bedding sets, worth £60, from Primark, Bradford, on April 16, 2022.
Singh was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on May 25, 2022.
