POLICE are appealing for information following a crash which saw a motorcyclist suffer serious injuries in Bradford.
Uniformed officers on patrol in a marked police car, saw a motorbike on Planetrees Road towards Bowling Back Lane.
The motorbike failed to stop for officers, who subsequently lost sight of the motorbike as it turned onto Sticker Lane.
The officers then found the motorbike had collided with a vehicle on Leeds Road close to the junction of Battye Street a short time later.
The rider of the motorbike was taken to hospital with serious injuries which are not believed to be life threatening. Officers are appealing for any witnesses to the collision or anyone who witnessed any events involving the motorbike prior to the collision to come forward.

Police added due to the nature of the incident and the prior police involvement, the incident has been referred to the Independent Office for Police Conduct, which is a mandatory procedure.
