A BRADFORD woman has appeared in court for a spate of shop thefts.
Alexandra Petrovics, 19, of Hick Street, faced a number of theft from a shop offences.
In the first, she stole goods, with a total of £387.90, from Primark, New Street, Huddersfield, on April 25, 2022. She was also ordered to pay a £95 victim surcharge for this offence.
Petrovics was also convicted for a charge of obstructing/resisting a constable in the section of their duty. This offence took place on April 25, 2022.
In the third theft from a shop charge, Petrovics stole goods, to the total value of £200, from Ali, Leeds Old Road, Bradford, on March 18, 2022.
She was also convicted of a fourth theft from a shop offence. This took place at Aldi, Leeds Old Road, Bradford, on March 26, 2022. She stole goods to the total value of £70 in this incident.
All four offences were contrary to the Theft Act 1968.
Petrovics was given a community order for the offences she was convicted of. The order included a rehabilitation activity requirement.
She pleaded guilty to all four offences and was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on May 20, 2022.
