A BRADFORD man has appeared in court charged with being drunk and disorderly in a city centre street.
Ahmed Naji Khalai, 31, of York House, Upper Piccadilly, faced one charge of being drunk and disorderly in a public place.
He was guilty, while drunk, of disorderly behaviour in Ivegate, Bradford City centre. The incident took place on April 29, 2022.
Khalai was fined £40, ordered to pay a £34 victim surcharge and £85 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service for the offence.
A collection order was made by the court which also applied for deductions from his benefit. He was ordered to pay the outstanding balance within 14 days.
He pleaded guilty to the charge and was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on May 24, 2022.
