CITY have announced an official partnership with First Bus across West Yorkshire.
The agreement will see the introduction of a number of long-term plans aimed at improving supporters’ experience around matchday, with the services First Bus provide across the district.
In addition, City’s ‘Own The Moment’ season-ticket branding will take centre stage on vehicles throughout Bradford and the surrounding areas, with the First Bus logo to appear on the sleeves of the Bantams’ shirts in the Carabao Cup next season.
Founded in 1998, the Bowling Back Lane-based firm is the largest bus operator in the region, transporting around 350,000 passengers a day.
John Godfrey, head of marketing at First West Yorkshire, said: “We are delighted to begin this partnership with the club and build on our shared goal of helping to reduce the carbon footprint of football fans.
“Anticipation is clearly growing for next season and we are ready to do more to connect local people to the club they love.
“We will be at the heart of the matchday experience, as fans travel to see the players in action.”
Davide Longo, the club’s chief commercial officer, said: “We are delighted to be welcoming First Bus on board as our newest official partner, and are looking forward to working alongside them over the course of the coming campaign.
“First Bus carry a huge presence across West Yorkshire and their influence will help us to encourage greater sustainability among our supporters, with a long-term view to introduce a number of beneficial initiatives. We look forward to working with them more closely during the season."
