A GIANT Union Jack flag has appeared on the lawn in a Bradford park.
As part of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations taking place over the bank holiday weekend, the Bradford District Park’s team has used a lawnmower to create a Union Jack flag in the grass at Harold Park in Low Moor.
The patriotic gesture has appeared ahead of the Friends of Harold Park Jubilee picnic on June 2, which will be held from 2pm until 4pm.
Efforts have been made across the district to get towns and villages ready for the historic celebration.
Bradford city centre has been transformed for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.
Decorations include a display of blue, red and white umbrellas and Union Jack bunting.
There will also be a huge tea party, where cake and food will be free of charge, in City Park from 6.30pm on Thursday.
