A SHIPLEY woman has been jailed for breaching a criminal behaviour order multiple times.
Kelly Walsh, 34, of Valley Road, pleaded guilty to the breaches and was sentenced to 16 weeks in prison.
She appeared before Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court to face charges, after she was caught begging on four separate occasions.
Walsh was prohibited from begging by a criminal behaviour order imposed in December.
The incidents took place on March 31 and April 4, April 9, and April 13, all in Shipley.
Court documents indicated that magistrates found the offence so serious because the defendant had “a flagrant disregard for court orders”.
A suspended sentence, imposed in March this year, was also implemented in full.
Walsh must also pay a £128 surcharge to fund victim services.
