A WOMAN has appeared in court charged with assaulting a police officer.
Antonia McLaughlin, 23, of Redcar Road, Greengates, faced a charge of assault by beating of an emergency worker.
She was convicted of assaulting a police constable in Redcar Road, Bradford, on March 28, 2021.
McLaughlin was handed a community order for the offence which includes a requirement that she should abstain from drinking any alcohol for 60 days.
She was also ordered to pay £85 costs.
McLaughlin was also re-sentenced for a number of previous offences including assaulting a man at Morrisons, Bradford Road, on November 1, 2019.
She originally pleaded not guilty but changed her plea to guilty at an earlier hearing and was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on May 18, 2022.
