THREE pupils from a Bradford district school were over the moon to receive scholarship deals at two professional football clubs.
In the next few weeks, Year 11 students Dylan Wilkinson, Zac Hadi and Ben Thirkhill will complete their GCSE exams at Beckfoot School in Bingley before beginning to fulfil their dreams of becoming professional footballers in July.
All three have signed two-year scholarship deals - with Ben putting pen to paper at Blackburn Rovers, and Dylan and Zak joining Bradford City.
3 Year 11s have put pen to paper recently, securing their future at their respective clubs on 2 year scholarship contracts. They truly deserve these & are so humble in their achievements, congratulations!

Headteacher Simon Wade was delighted for the three boys when he heard the news and is looking forward to seeing how far they can go in their careers.
He said: "All three have signed two-year scholarship deals and we are so delighted for them and their families.
"All three have worked incredibly hard over many years to secure these much-deserved opportunities.
"They are wonderful young men who are mature, resilient, humble and very ambitious.
"They have contributed so much to our school and have been a pleasure to know and work with as students over the past five years.
"We wish them every success and happiness for their futures beyond Beckfoot School at two very special football clubs."
