A LOCAL community group will be celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee with an event at a well-known park.
Ebony Ambassadors will be hosting a day of celebration at Lister Park on Sunday, June 5, between 12-4, featuring music, dance, food, and arts and crafts.
The party will be held outside the Cartwright Hall.
Ebony Ambassadors, said: "We are glad to be funded by Bradford City Council, Department of Place to organise a Jubilee party for the Queen.
"We are very delighted to be among organisations chosen to celebrate the Queen's platinum jubilee."
The theme of the Jubilee party is crafts, with families able to learn a new skill.
Sohail Ahmed, Chair of B4B, said: “The Queen's Jubilee is a historic event that will remain a memory for a lifetime for those witnessing it. We are delighted to be part of this event to make this a wonderful occasion for people of all ages."
Saima Khan, a member of Friends of Lister Park, said: “We are very proud to host this event at Lister Park, it is the perfect place to celebrate and have a fun day with all the family."
