SEVERAL Bradford areas will have their power switched off this afternoon.
Northern Powergrid announced on its website that around 60 properties in the district are expected to be affected by the switch off later today.
The power is being switched off temporarily so the utility company can carry out permanent repairs in the specified areas.
The main areas affected are in BD16, BD18 and BD20.
In BD18 - the Shipley area - Northern Powergrid is expected to turn off electricity at 2pm.
This is expected to hit roughly 20 homes and premises in the area.
This includes buildings off Grosvenor Road, Trenance Drive, Lindisfarne Road, Farfield Road and Fern Hill Road.
Meanwhile, in BD16 and BD20 - the Micklethwaite area - power is due to be switched off at 4pm.
Around 40 buildings are expected to be impacted.
This includes buildings off Walsh Lane, Heights Lane, Hill Top Lane and Carr Lane.
