Police have launched an investigation into an unexplained death in Shipley.
Reports of a police presence on Alexandra Road, close to Shipley swimming pool and the Asda superstore, emerged early on Wednesday evening.
Yorkshire Ambulance Service were called out around 4pm to a report of a concern for safety.
West Yorkshire Police arrived around 4.30pm.
Residents reported seeing two police cars, two police vans and an ambulance arrive on their street.
A police cordon remains in place as enquiries continue.
"Police are checking local CCTV for evidence," one witness said.
West Yorkshire Police said: "At 4.30pm, police were called by the ambulance service to a report of a concern for safety on Alexandra Road, Shipley.
"Emergency services attended and found the body of a male.
"A police cordon remains in place at this time and enquiries are going.
"The death is currently being treated as unexplained."
