THE number of online job adverts has been revealed in statistics at local authority level for the first time.
The data, published by the Office for National Statistics, shows there were an estimated 42.3 online job ads on average in Bradford in January 2022.
This compares to 39.8 in the same period in 2017, showing a 6.3 per cent rise over the five year period.
In West Yorkshire, the highest number of online adverts in 2022 was in Leeds (170.2), followed by Bradford (42.3), Wakefield (41.0), Kirklees (32.4) and Calderdale (16.6).
The data also shows that the smallest rise in West Yorkshire was in Bradford, with Kirklees experiencing the highest increase at 41.5 per cent.
