A WOMAN has appeared in court on assault and shop theft charges in the Bradford district.
Jacqueline Culshaw, 26, was given a community order as she faced one count of theft from a shop and two assault by beating charges.
In the first, she stole five cans of gin and tonic, worth £5, from Aldi in Shipley on February 7, 2022.
Culshaw was ordered to pay £85 costs, a £95 victim surcharge and £5 compensation.
She was also charged with two assault by beating charges, on two different people, which both took place in Bradford on February 7, 2022.
Culshaw, of Queen Elizabeth Drive, Normanton, Wakefield, pleaded guilty to all three charges and was sentenced at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court on May 18, 2022.
