LOCAL intelligence led to the discovery of a cannabis farm and an arrest in West Yorkshire.
A spokesperson for the Wakefield district of West Yorkshire Police said: "On Friday evening, following local intelligence, PC1097 and PCSO 158 from Wakefield West NPT discovered a cannabis farm at a property on a residential street in Lupset.
"The officers conducted several patrols, keeping an eye on the property and carrying out a door knock in the area.
"The occupant was subsequently arrested for production of cannabis and abstraction of electricity.
"If you have any information regarding suspicious activity in your local area, please report it to us using 101 online or by calling 101. Alternatively, you can report anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
