TWO cab drivers from a Bradford district taxi firm were targeted for their earnings while working.
The worrying incidents happened on Saturday and Sunday – on the same street – leaving private hire firm AA Carz in Shipley fearful the same thing could happen again.
On Saturday, a driver was on West Royd Drive, Windhill, when his vehicle was surrounded by four people.
Fearful the group had a knife, the driver handed over his money, which totalled around £150 to £160.
Then on Sunday, another driver was on the same street, when his vehicle was approached by a male.
The back doors of the vehicle were open, and the suspect grabbed the driver’s arm and twisted it, but the driver managed to get away.
West Yorkshire Police confirmed they are investigating both incidents.
