A 200-YEAR-old pub has revealed plans to triple the amount of customers that can sit outside.
The Greyhound in Tong Village was built sometime between 1800 and 1830 and is a Grade II listed building.
Owners Greene King Pubs have applied to Bradford Council for new outdoor seating areas, which include new lighting, heating, a covered pergola and portable cricket nets to protect customers sitting outside when a match is on the neighbouring pitch.

There is currently space for 36 customers in the pub’s external areas. If the new plans are approved, this would increase to 108.
The application says: “The pub itself will remain untouched, other than external decorations.
“We wish to provide a welcoming experience to all visitors and provide improved facilities for all. With doing this they expect that a range of new customers will visit the site and this will be worth the investment they are proposing.”
