Bierley Community Centre is celebrating the Queen’s Jubilee with a family friendly get together.
The free event is taking place on Friday, June 3 between 11.30am and 4.30pm – featuring local businesses and community-run stalls.
There will be food and drink, arts and crafts, a DJ, tombola, cake sale, bouncy castle, face painting and more.
Children from the centre’s C.A.T.C.H youth club and OPALS group have been involved in planning the special day.
“After the last two years with covid hitting the country we wanted to get people together again and have some fun as a community and celebrate the Queens Jubilee,” the centre’s Becky Bottomley said.
“We wanted to celebrate Bierley Community Centre being back on the map and we thought, why not bring the community together?”
