BRADFORD Teaching Hospitals Trust was caring for 26 coronavirus patients in hospital as of Tuesday, figures show, while Airedale had 20 Covid patients.
NHS England data shows the number of people being treated in hospital for Covid-19 by 8am on May 10 was up at Bradford from 25 on the same day the previous week. At Airedale, the number of patients was down from 28 the previous week.
The number of beds at Bradford occupied by people who tested positive for Covid-19 decreased by 60 per cent in the last four weeks – 28 days ago, there were 65.
At Airedale, the number of Covid patients occupying beds decreased by 59 per cent in the last four weeks – 28 days ago, there were 49.
The number of Covid-19 patients hospitalised nationally has decreased by 54 per cent in the last four weeks.
The figures also show that 43 new Covid patients were admitted to hospital in Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in the week to May 8, up from 32 in the previous seven days.
At Airedale, 44 new Covid patients were admitted to hospital in the week to May 8, up from 39 in the previous seven days.
