A WOMAN has been fined after she was caught with heroin.
Gina Louise Barker, 41, of Pemberton Drive, Listerhills, appeared before Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court on May 11 to be sentenced.
She was charged with possession of a controlled drug of class A – heroin and the use of threatening/abusive words/behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress.
The offences happened on December 6 last year.
Barker was fined £120 and ordered to pay a surcharge of £34 to fund victim services.
A collection order was made and the court was to apply for benefit deductions to recover the £154.
The diamorphine will be forfeited under section 27 of the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 and destroyed.
Barker’s guilty pleas were taken into account when sentencing.
