A YOUTH has been convicted of assault by beating and criminal damage.
The 15-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared before the West Yorkshire Youth Court, at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates' Court to be sentenced on May 9.
The boy pleaded guilty to beating another male and damaging a window.
Both offences happened in the Bradford district earlier this year.
The court referred him to the Bradford Youth Offender panel.
Court documents state he will be subject to an extended compliance period of two months.
This will run consecutively to a sentence imposed in February. The total contract with the panel is 10 months.
When a young person is referred to the panel, they are assessed to identify the problems behind their offending. The risk they pose to others is also measured.
