A MAN was hauled before the courts after failing to comply with the requirements of a community order.
David Howes, 41, of York House, Thorpe Edge, appeared before Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court on May 12 to face the charge.
The community order was made by Liverpool and Knowsley Magistrates’ Court in March 2018 and according to court documents, he failed to attend appointments on two occasions “and in the alternative failed to provide acceptable evidence within the specified time”.
He admitted the breach and was dealt with for the original offences.
The first was an incident in October 2016 where he was caught with a knuckle-duster on Manchester Road in Bradford.
On that same date, he was caught with a quantity of methadone.
Howes was committed to prison for a total of eight weeks, with the sentence suspended for 12 months.
