A highly respected and much loved Bradford author has been revealed as the latest guest at a monthly poetry event.
Suhaiymah Manzoor-Khan – a writer, poet and educator born in the city – is attending the Sisterhood Poetry open mic night at Bradford Libraries.
Taking place from 7pm on May 27, the free event will be an opportunity to get signed copies.
Poet and Sisterhood host Sharena Lee Satti said: “She is a huge inspiration to me and people across the region. It's such a blessing to have Suhaiymah join us.
“You don’t have to be poet, or a writer. You may just want to come and listen, try out something new. All women are welcome, it's a beautiful encouraging environment.”
You can book tickets via Eventbrite (https://bit.ly/3sxHCT4). Booking is essential.
