TWO Bradford eateries have been shortlisted for the North East region for Uber Eats Restaurant of the Year 2022.
Mr T's, on Great Horton Road, which specialises in hamburgers, and Kashmiri restaurant Shimlas, also on Great Horton Road, are amongst ten restaurants in the North East region to be shortlisted for the awards.
"It's amazing," said Shimlas managing director Rahat Javid. "Honestly, the North East is a big wide area and for our restaurant to be nominated shows the quality of food and service that we have."
"For Shimlas to be one of the busiest restaurants on Uber shows there is a massive demand for us."
Tauseef Malik, owner of Mr T's, said: "I feel honoured to have been chosen to represent the Restaurant of the Year award by Uber Eats.
"It would be great for someone to win from the North East region from Bradford.
"It puts Bradford on the map and that Bradford is famous for the variety and quality of food.
"I kindly ask everyone and all our customers, to go onto ubereatsawards.com and to vote for Mr T's."
