A BRADFORD man has appeared in court charged with burglary with intent to steal.
Sohail Miah, 29, of Grosvenor Road, has been handed a community order for a number of charges.
In the first offence, burglary with intent to steal, he entered, as a trespasser, a building, namely Kirkgate, Bradford, on January 23, 2021. He was ordered to pay a £95 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
Miah was convicted for one charge of criminal damage to property valued under £5,000.
In this charge, he damaged glass windows to the value of under £5,000 belonging to Holland & Barrett on January 23, 2021, intending to destroy, or damage, such property, or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damage.
He was handed a drug rehabilitation requirement under the community order.
Miah pleaded guilty when he was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on April 29, 2022.
