A BRADFORD man has been slapped with a hefty fine and points after he drove at nearly 100mph on the M606.
Mohammed Sajid, 49 of Stubden Rise, Denholme, Bradford, drove his Mercedes GLA at 98mph on the M606 on April 30, 2020, exceeding the 70mph speed limit.
Sajid was caught by a speed camera and pleaded not guilty at Kirklees Magistrates' Court on April 12, 2022.
A Collection Order was made and Sajid was ordered to pay a £120 fine, a surcharge to fund victim services of £34, and costs of £620 to the Crown Prosecution Service.
In total, he must pay £774 and had his driving record endorsed with six points.
