A MAN has been charged with common assault and a public order offence in connection with an incident outside a major Bradford school.
Alexander Kendrew, aged 31, of Nelson Street, Queensbury, is alleged to have caused disruption to develop outside Trinity Academy Bradford in Queensbury last week.
School principal Tom Taylor issued a lengthy letter to parents in the aftermath of an ‘incident’ on the afternoon of Tuesday, April 26.
It said the school was working closely with police and helping them with their enquiries.
A police spokesperson said: "Alexander Kendrew, aged 31, of Nelson Street, has been charged with common assault and a public order offence.
"He was bailed to appear at Bradford Magistrates on June 24."
