A POLICE presence remains at the scene where a male's body was discovered almost 48 hours ago.
Officers have been present on Pudsey Road, near Tawny Beck and Ridge View, for nearly two days now.
When the Telegraph & Argus visited the scene at around 8.30am today, a police van and officer were spotted.
One local resident told the T&A: "It is concerning police have not been round to speak to residents to reassure us, especially when officers are remaining at the site two days later."
Another resident added: "It is totally out of character for this area, usually it is peaceful."
The initial call to police came at around 11.40am on Tuesday from the ambulance service.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, a spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "At 11.39am this morning, police were contacted by the ambulance service who were attending a report of a male found unconscious near to the junction of Pudsey Road and Ridge View in Pudsey.
"He was pronounced dead at the scene."
Police have not issued any further updates since then.
