A BRADFORD woman will come under the guidance of Gordon Ramsey as she continues to compete in the final of a popular TV cooking show.

She tweeted: So happy to be in the FINAL 4 of @MasterChefUK 2022.
“I cooked my heart out and hard work results in dreams coming true! My MasterChef journey continues… What a fantastic group of people I am sharing this experience with.”
She will be performing in the MasterChef kitchen tonight on BBC One from 8pm. She then hopes to make it through to Thursday night’s final programme, also at 8pm.
This followed her making it through last night’s opening heat of finals week.
Radha battled through two challenges; cooking a dish with the theme of something that inspires her and going to Ireland to take part in a team test of cooking a three-course meal for Irish chefs and food historians.
Very close to my heart due to my dual heritage & the challenges I faced growing up. Inspiration from the works of Rudyard Kipling, poem ‘IF’ & ‘THE JUNGLE BOOK’ 🇮🇳 🇬🇧

The Lassi divided the crowd but I stayed true to my heritage and culture and I’m proud to be #BothNotHalf pic.twitter.com/hKULrAaWIB
In the first test, in the MasterChef kitchen, Radha made a spiced jackfruit biriyani featuring a masala tomato sauce, puff pastry disc and kachumber salad. This was inspired by Ridyard Kipling’s poem, ‘If’.
This dish impressed the judges, with Gregg Wallace saying; “I’m really into this dish. It’s a good dish.
“Radha’s dish today looked fantastic, it tasted great.”
This led to Radha making it through to last night’s second stage, as fellow contestant Ioan went home.
Radha and the other remaining three contestants then travelled to Ireland for the second test.
I’ve always supported ‘Farm to Fork’ philosophy that Myrtle Allen & @Ballymaloe @BallymaloeCS have championed. It was an honour to cook at their esteemed cookery school.

As a vegetarian I was not expecting to get such incredible feedback on my Fish course, thank you so much. 🐟 pic.twitter.com/2LtMKheW5U
They went to the Ballymaloe Cookery School, near Cork, inspired by the life’s work of chef Myrtle Allen.
Radha and fellow contestant Eddie got to grips with local produce when they travelled to Ballycotton in East Cork, looking for the seaweed there.
After their fact-finding mission, the team had to put on a three-course meal for top Irish chefs.
Vegetarian Radha was in charge of the fish course, which saw her make smoked mackerel fish cakes. These were accompanied by a pea mash, garden herb salad and a poached egg on top.
Her dish impressed the diners, with one saying ‘this is delicious’.
The final four now face their next test tonight with the chefs table test. Superstar chef Gordon Ramsey joins the contestants in the restaurant kitchen for this task.
