Hundreds of people attended the annual Eid-Millan celebration party and dinner organised by the Pakistan Society of West Yorkshire.
The lavish celebrations were held at the Hilton Hotel in Hall Ings, Bradford, where Sports Minister and Bradford MP Gerry Sutcliffe was one of the guest speakers.
Society president Rashid Awan said the event, which also celebrated the society's 15th anniversary, went very well.
He said: "There were about 600 people there, including people from all sorts of backgrounds."
Children were entertained by a magician, while Bombay Stores, of Bradford, provided henna paintings and bangles.
Mr Awan said: "This is the seventh annual celebration we have held at the Hilton. The main purpose of this exercise is to bring communities together and work towards community cohesion.
"I am very proud to be president of this society and I hope we continue to do our bit for bringing the communities together, sharing our problems and finding the solution."
