BRADFORD's Peace Museum is launching a new exhibition at city centre arts hub Kala Sangam.
Defining Peace: Past, Present & Future will ask 'what is peace?' and give visitors the opportunity to define it for themselves.
The exhibition will open on May 10, with a launch event at Kala Sangam from 6-8pm, and will run until July 29.
The exhibition and the launch event will be free for all visitors to attend. The exhibition will also help shape the future of museum as the team prepares to move premises.
Shannen Johnson, Learning and Engagement Officer at The Peace Museum said: “We’re so grateful to Kala Sangam not only for giving us the opportunity to share some the objects from our collection while our galleries are closed, but also an opportunity to discover what the people of Bradford think about peace.
"This is such an important time both for Bradford and for The Peace Museum, and the audience feedback from Defining Peace will help us to create a new museum that reflects the spirit and diversity of this amazing city.”
The exhibition will be free to view during Kala Sangam's regular opening times: 9am-5pm Monday to Friday and 9am-2pm on Saturdays.
