A PUPPY cruelly stolen from a young blind man is now back home.
Mohammed Atta, 24, spoke earlier this week of his devastation at the ordeal.
It happened on Monday when he was walking the dog, an American Bully, on Springfield Avenue in the Scholemoor area of Bradford.
Mohammed was with a friend, who was holding the puppy when a car "full of lads" pulled up.
Mohammed was attacked with what he thought was a cricket or baseball bat before the puppy was taken.
"My whole life and my world revolve around my dogs," said.
"I'm devastated. I can't sleep, my mind is not at rest."
West Yorkshire Police said they were investigating a report of a robbery and today confirmed the dog was back with Mohammed.
A spokesperson said enquiries are ongoing.
While Mohammed said he was "over the moon" she was back safe, the puppy has been hurt.
He said her ears had been "butchered" and stapled and she had to be taken to an emergency vets.
Mohammed wrote on Facebook: "I appreciate everyone who has shared my post, I really appreciate everyone who has done everything in their power to help me bring my baby home.
"I'm just hurting at the fact they have done that to her ears. Please just pray she's okay."
