A GIRLS' school in Bradford has been praised for its glowing report after it was rated outstanding across all categories during its most recent Ofsted inspection.
Feversham Girls’ Academy – part of Feversham Education Trust was inspected by Ofsted officers on March 9 and 10 March 2022, where it was marked as 'outstanding' across all five categories including: The quality of education, Behaviour and attitudes, Personal development, Leadership and management and Sixth-form provision.
The report highlights how students have “high expectations of themselves and their peers”, “behaviour is exemplary”, and staff are “successful in helping pupils prepare for life in modern Britain” as well as inspiring them to set ambitious career goals.

Comments from parents were also included, where one said that 'her daughter comes home from school with a smile on her face every day' and another added that the teachers' enthusiasm is ‘infectious'.
Sajida Muneer, Principal of Feversham Girls’ Academy, said: “We have always been proud to provide a supportive, happy and respectful environment for our students, equipping them with the self-belief and confidence to achieve their ambitions.
"Achieving this quality of report, and the comments included, I am told is rare in secondary school education and so we’re delighted that the hard work, dedication and efforts of our whole school community have been formally recognised by Ofsted.”
Priding themselves on providing high-quality provision and opportunities for students and staff, Feversham Girls’ Academy and the Trust, were pleased to see that Ofsted also recognised the school’s rich curriculum, noting it “exceeds expectations” of the national curriculum, reflecting “leaders’ determination to transform lives and communities through academic excellence”.
Professor M. Khurshid Khan, CEO of Feversham Education Trust, commented: “I am thrilled that Ofsted has commended Ms Muneer and her team at Feversham Girls’ Academy. They have created an academy which provides exemplary learning opportunities for the young people they serve.
“We are delighted that our commitment to fostering a culture of excellence and providing rich experiences which best prepares students for their futures is recognised so emphatically by Ofsted throughout this report.”
Inspectors also reflected upon the enthusiasm from students in terms of their contribution to projects both within the school and their local community, for example running a local food bank.
They also highlighted how teachers and other adults support pupils with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND) extremely well.
