TWO men have been arrested after a woman's body was found in a house.
The body was discovered at an address in Halifax Road, Liversedge yesterday.
The two men, aged 56 and 40, were arrested in connection with the incident.
The 40-year-old man remains in custody at this time.
The 56-year-old was released on bail pending further enquiries.
When the Telegraph & Argus visited the scene this afternoon (Friday), a police cordon remained in place and a police car was parked across the entrance to the property.
A police spokesperson said: "Enquiries are continuing today following the discovery of a woman’s body at an address in Halifax Road, Liversedge yesterday.
"Two men have been arrested in connection with the incident. One of whom, a 56-year-old man, has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
"A 40-year-old man remains in custody at this time.
"The woman’s family are being supported by specially trained officers."
