WEST Yorkshire Police has revealed how many people have been caught importing child-sized ‘sex dolls’.
The details were revealed through a Freedom of Information (FOI) request, the details of which were published on the force’s website.
It said: “During the period 01/01/2019 to 31/12/2021 West Yorkshire Police recorded two males suspected of importation of child-sized sex dolls.
“Of the two mentioned above both are known to the police for offences relating to indecent images of children.”
The FOI also enquired whether the force always checks computer devices for downloads of child abuse images in the event that a person is caught importing such an item.
“West Yorkshire Police can confirm that computer devices would be checked for indecent images of children,” said the force.
