A 60-year-old woman from Bradford has been sentenced to 26 weeks in prison after she assaulted a woman and beat an emergency worker.
Louise Marriott, 60 of Water Meadow Drive, Denholme, Bradford, assaulted a woman by beating her at The Royal Hotel on Maine Road in Denholme on April 9, 2022.
An exclusion order was made for 12 months, meaning Marriott is not allowed to enter The Royal Hotel.
Furthermore, on the same day, Merriott assaulted an officer who was acting in his rights as a member of the police force.
Because of the severity of her crime and that she committed the crime against an emergency worker acting in the exercise of functions she was given a 26-week concurrent sentence.
She has been ordered to pay a surcharge of £128 to fund victim’s services.
Marriott issued a guilty plea and this was taken into consideration when the sentence was imposed.
