Police arrest a man in the Buttershaw area for possession of cannabis
POLICE officers in Bradford have arrested a man after he was found in possession of cannabis and drug driving.
Officers were leaving the Buttersahw area in Bradford last night when they spotted a silver Astra without a valid MOT on Fairfield Avenue.
Police could smell cannabis after stopping the vehicle and the driver tested positive on the drug wipe.
He was found to be in possession of cannabis.
Officers arrested him and he currently remains in custody under investigation awaiting blood results for the drug driving.
The male was issued a community resolution notice for the cannabis possession.
