A MAN has been given an exclusion order from a Bradford retail park after appearing in court on a theft charge.
Michael Kalmar, 26, c/o Damon Avenue, Ravenscliffe, faced a total of three charges.
In the first offence, theft from a shop, Kalmar stole £300 worth of fur coats from Next Retail, Forster Square Retail Park, Valley Road, Bradford, on February 18, 2022.
An exclusion order was made where Kalmar cannot enter Forster Square Retail Park for 12 months. He was also ordered to pay £300 compensation for the offence.
In the second offence, failing to surrender to police/court bail at the appointed time, Kalmar failed, without reasonable cause, to surrender to custody, at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court, on March 25, 2022, having been released on bail in criminal proceedings early that month. Kalmar was also fined £50 for this offence.
Kalmar was also fined £50 and ordered to pay a £95 victim surcharge for a charge of failing to attend for/remain for duration of initial assessment following test for a class A drug in Bradford on January 24, 2022.
Kalmar pleaded guilty to all three offences when he was sentenced at Bradford & Keighley Magistrates’ Court on April 5, 2022.
