BRADFORD-based Oscrete UK has doubled its laboratory capacity to produce more products to help with challenges in the construction industry.
The manufacturer, based on Rutland Road, off Wakefield Road, is now looking to recruit trainee concrete technicians to create new and improve existing admixtures which change the properties of concrete, meeting a range of construction needs.
Oscrete UK Ltd is one of the UK’s leading specialist construction chemical suppliers.
Dean Clarke, Oscrete’s technical and development manager, said: “Expanding our lab is key for the growth of our business and the increased capacity and ability for product innovation means we’re also creating local jobs – roles which will expand our team of technicians who make the business-critical, concrete alchemy happen!”
“Our concrete lab really is the nerve centre of our business – the place where mixing, trialling, sampling and experimenting on behalf of our customers brings their product and construction goals and visions to life.
"Since our relaunch in January, we now have more space to do the work we excel at – and with new team members soon to come on board, we’re even further along the path to becoming the UK and Ireland’s leading supplier of admixture and additive products.”
