An investigation has been launched into the cause of a fire at a disused Bradford church.
Firefighters tackled the building fire on Undercliffe Road for most of Monday evening.
West Yorkshire Police has since confirmed Bradford CID is making enquiries into the incident.
It comes after West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue logged the incident as deliberate.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting log 1242 of April 25.
Earlier this month, a planning application to demolish the church and build shops and industrial units in its place had been submitted to Bradford Council.
The chapel, based at 114 Undercliffe Road, had most recently been used as a workshop.
Crews from Bradford, Shipley, Fairweather Green and Stanningley fire stations attended the scene.
Bradford Council's Building Control team is assessing the former chapel to ensure the structure is safe.
