An existing bus service in Bingley could provide a vital link to hospitals in the area.
Residents are being consulted on a proposal for the 619 Bradford to Bingley First bus service to link up with Bradford Royal Infirmary and Bingley Hospital.
People are being urged to air their views on a new route which will incorporate Duckworth Lane and Heights Lane instead of Toller Lane.
The service is being reviewed by the bus company because of low passenger numbers.
A First spokesman said: "The lack of a link between Bingley and the BRI has recently been highlighted and First is keen to explore every opportunity to provide a service that would benefit customers, particularly those with mobility problems, who rely on buses to get important medical treatment.
"The 619 route is currently provided on a commercial basis by First but is under review due to low passenger numbers, however no decision on route changes has yet been made."
Comments about the proposed changed to the 619 service should be sent to First, Freepost RRCE-ZXEY-AJBKcrrt, Bradford, BD4 8SP by February 15.
