Police are hunting a robber who attacked a mum in front of her two young children - to steal her mobile phone.
The woman was walking with a pushchair down an alley off Parkside Road, West Bowling, when she was approached by the man.
He demanded she hand over her phone and hit her in the face before snatching the phone and running off.
The woman suffered facial injuries and needed treatment at Bradford Royal Infirmary before being allowed home.
Police have described her attacker as white, aged 20 to 25, of medium build, 5ft 6ins, with short light brown hair and a fair complexion.
He spoke with a local accent and was wearing a black zipped hooded jacket with a grey hooded jacket underneath, black tracksuit bottoms, black trainers and a pair of grey woollen gloves.
Anyone with information about the robbery, which occurred shortly after 9.30pm on Wednesday, should contact Bradford South CID on 0845 6060606.
