A MAN from Buckinghamshire has appeared in court charged with stealing a suitcase from a Bradford branch of Primark.
Luke O’Brien, 43, of Sion Terrace, Buckinghamshire, faced one theft from a shop offence.
He was convicted of stealing a suitcase, valued at £50, from Primark stores in Bradford, on April 16, 2022. This was contrary to the Theft Act 1968.
O’Brien was given a 12-month conditional discharge, ordered to pay £85 costs to the Crown Prosecution Service and ordered to pay a £22 victim surcharge.
The transfer of the fine was made to Buckinghamshire Magistrates’ Court. A collection order was also made by the court.
O’Brien pleaded guilty to the theft from a shop charge when he was sentenced at Leeds Magistrates’ Court on April 18, 2022.
