A BRADFORD parade to mark St George's Day returned today after two years of disruption due to the pandemic.
St George's Day is the annual day of remembrance for England's patron saint, who is said to have vanquished a dragon and rescued a princess centuries ago.
The Bradford South Scouts parade was led by the Queensbury Revolution Scout Band and began in Centenary Square. The parade stopped at Bradford Cathedral for a service and, then followed the same route back.
For the first time ever, the parade featured the Squirrels section, pictured in their red uniforms, alongside the Beavers, Cubs and Scouts.
Meanwhile, Bradford North Scouts held a district parade at scout campsite Blackhills in Cottingley.
