POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a fatal crash on Saturday.
The Major Collision and Enquiry Team (MCET) would like to speak with anyone who saw or has information about the crash, which happened on the B6144 Wilsden Road.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "The collision occurred at around 4.50pm when a silver Vauxhall Astra, travelling towards the Sandy Lane area was in collision with a Yamaha XT, (trials style) motorcycle that was travelling in the opposite direction.
"A man, aged 72, suffered serious injuries in the collision and sadly died at the scene.
"Anyone who saw what happened, or who saw either vehicle beforehand, or has footage of the incident is asked to contact the Major Collision and Enquiry Team on 101 referencing police log 1154 of 23rd April 2022.
