A BRADFORD car dealership has become the sponsor of a district rugby league team.

Mercedes-Benz of Bradford, operated by Pendragon's Stratstone group, is the new sponsor of West Bowling ARLFC.

West Bowling relocated to Bradford (park Avenue’s) Horsfall Community Stadium in 2021 and play in the National League Conference at an open age level. The amateur rugby club is represented by teams of all ages as well as several successful girls' teams and kicked off their season in March.

Stratstone’s sponsorship will support West Bowling's work throughout the year and provide supporters with access to exclusive offers and giveaways.

Mercedes-Benz of Bradford will also appear on the West Bowling kit for the season and attendees of Open Age Team home games will see the latest Mercedes-Benz models including the EQS, of the all-electric EQ range, and the new C-Class Saloon and Estate.

A Stratstone Mercedes-Benz of Bradford spokesman said: “We were looking to partner with a club who play a big part in the local community and West Bowling was an obvious choice.

“We wish West Bowling ARLFC all the best for the 2022 season.”
