POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision in Leeds which has left a cyclist in a critical condition.
The 51-year-old man was riding a black Boardman pedal cycle which was involved in a collision with a blue Carrera electronically-assisted pedal cycle while both vehicles were travelling towards each other on the pavement in East Street in the city centre at about 5.45pm yesterday.
He was taken to hospital by ambulance with serious injuries and remains in a critical condition. The rider of the other bike, a 19-year-old man, received a minor leg injury.
