THE RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield, Bradford & District branch is celebrating all the work it does with its Furry Friends Open Day this May bank holiday.
The event will take place on Monday, 2 May at the RSPCA Animal Centre on Wade Street, Halifax, from 12pm to 3pm.
People are invited to attend the self-funded RSPCA Animal Centre for some family fun, with the open day also helping to raise vital funds and awareness for the charity and the ongoing work it carries out across the region.
The Animal Centre will feature stalls, food and drink, games, interactive learning and of course, lots of animals to meet.
If people would like to bring some donations for the animals, the Centre is currently short on Felix kitten food and dog toys.
People can also bring any unwanted clothing, teddies or home items for RSPCA charity shops, which are a vital source of funding for the Animal Centre.
Any stock donated would be much appreciated, the branch added.
To find out more about the open day, people can visit the charity’s website here: www.rspcahalifaxhuddersfieldbradford.org.uk or head over to its Facebook event page: www.facebook.com/events/532817574792902.
